There is more to tennis than the direct components related to the game: the tennis racket, the net, or even the tennis balls. It’s having fencing! Not only fencing, but the right type of fencing that’s built to last for years of enjoyment to come. It is inevitable to over hit the ball. It happens to all players at all levels. That’s exactly where Century Fence stepped in to install brand new galvanized chain link fencing along with additional addons to ensure a quality, six court venue for the Rangers.

For this project Century Fence took on, it was located in Crosby, Minnesota. More specifically, it was for the Crosby-Ironton Ranger High School. Ranger High School has a robust tennis court presence with six full sized tennis courts completely fenced in! The school simply wanted the fencing to be high enough where players usually wouldn’t need to be concerned about having any tennis balls flying outside the venue. Besides the fencing, they’d also requested to have Century Fence install the backboards, net posts, and nets.
Our Solution
To ensure all of the Rangers expectations were met, Century Fence installed exactly what they were looking for. A 10’ high galvanized chain link perimeter fencing around all the tennis courts. For background information, a standard chain link fence is about 6’ tall. The help of an extra 4’ can go a long way towards keeping most hit tennis balls within the court. Ultimately leading to more enjoyment and convenience to the Crosby-Ironton Rangers.
Final Results
The end result of the new tennis courts turned met the expectations of the Crosby-Ironton Rangers. Now students in school, or in after school activities can enjoy their tennis courts without having to be nearly as worried about having any of their tennis balls end up outside of the tennis court. Century Fence is also quite confident that drivers parked next to the tennis courts also appreciate the new fencing upgrade.
